Welcome to Information Technology at the City of Quincy Florida. Information provides front line support to staff and citizens of the City. We are the first point of contact for information and technical support at the City.
The Information Technology Department provides a broad range to technology support services to the City. The Department was formed in 2000 under the direction of the General Services department. The department currently consists of three full time staff and three contracted staff located in three different buildings. The department‘s responsibility includes managing the City’s Local and Wide Area networks; managing the City’s phone switch and all internal phone extensions. The department has also been at the forefront of the City’s Smart Grid Initiative deploying the data services for the AMI network. The department is headed by a Director who reports to the City Manager.
