Dear Residents of Quincy,
I am extremely humbled by this opportunity. I look forward to serving the citizens of the City of Quincy, and reclaiming and rebuilding our finances, infrastructure, public safety, and services for/to our citizens. I see a brighter future rising in the City of Quincy and believe the City’s best days are ahead. We need to cultivate that bright future by bringing in more quality housing, attracting more companies and businesses, spurring entrepreneurship, and innovation, and cultivating the future of the city through a well-trained local workforce.
I also know that we can achieve more when we work together. I am committed to building relationships with all residents across and within the various districts. I will continue to seek out and understand the community concerns and needs. I will be proactive in addressing any and all issues and concerns, particularly public safety. We need a more comprehensive community approach to the crime and violence happening in our city. Public safety is a feeling, as well as a state of being. In addition, I am committed to communication, collaboration, partnerships, and the development of solutions that benefits all the citizens of the City of Quincy.
Thank you for your trust, support and engagement, and overall empowerment as we move this city forward, not backward. We have a wonderful city, but with your involvement, it will be better. What we do today, impacts what happens tomorrow. for this is our city and our future!
