NOTICE OF PROPOSED TAX INCREASE

THE PREVIOUS NOTICE PLACED BY THE CITY OF QUINCY HAS BEEN DETERMINED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF REVENUE TO BE IN VIOLATION OF THE LAW, NECESSITATING THIS SECOND NOTICE.

The City of Quincy has tentatively adopted a measure to increase its property tax levy.

Last year's property tax levy
A. Initialy proposed tax levy                        $1,672,337
B. Plus tax increases to Value Adjustmeent Board
   and other assessment charges                  ($72,875)

This year's proposed tax levy                        $1,987,282

All concerned citizens are invited to attend a public hearing on the tax increase to be held on:
